the home is very nice, the reason i bought it was because how move in ready it was, and the impression it made on me as i walked in the door, there are immediate vaulted ceilings, and very large windows(three at least 105 inches wide) that makes the living and family rooms very bright.
the bank repainted the entire house in this beige/tan colour, installed new doors, and iÃ?Æ??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢??Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢??Ã?â??Ã?¢m pretty sure they installed new molding throughout, because it all looks pretty well intact, and newly painted in white. There are a few gallons of each paint in the crawl space/attic located above the garage.
there is newer tile throughout and the roof is post charlie as well, i originally thought that this was done by the bank(it was previously bank owned), but a previous owner stopped by for mail one day and explained to my roommate that they put in the tile throughout as well as had the new roof put on. the home inspection that i had done noted that the roof was newer, and the tile has no scratches and a very new appearance when i steam mop it.
november 2011 i had the master shower retiled with new shower fixtures, we re-used the old door(which is easily replaceable), the guy even jack hammered out the old base and re-poured a new one. I also replaced both toilets, the new ones use less water to flush, and theyÃ?Æ??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢??Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢??Ã?â??Ã?¢re 6 inches taller than regular toilets too, so there is good leg room. I replaced the kitchen sink and garbage disposal, both of which are not top of the line, just replacements because I didnÃ?Æ??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢??Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢??Ã?â??Ã?¢t like how the old one looks. The microwave, stove, and fridge are all new (I never attached the water/ice tube for the fridge) and I never bothered to get a dishwasher, because my roommate and myself tend to not use a lot of dishes.
The washer/dryer are not new, I got them at one of those wholesale places, but they work fine by us, if I were to stay in this house longer, IÃ?Æ??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢??Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢??Ã?â??Ã?¢d look into getting newer appliances, and even the dishwasher.
the garage can fit two cars and is automatic, I found one of my parentÃ?Æ??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢??Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢??Ã?â??Ã?¢s old garage openers, re-programmed it, and it works to open and close the garage. It is a very loud garage opener, if anyone is sleeping in the adjacent rooms, they will probably wake up.
It is a zero lot, but the backyard is nice, there is a covered patio that is not screened in, two trees, the main one is a maple leaf that tends to drop a lot of leaves. The sprinkler system may work, during my ill attempt at using a weed eater, I nailed the main water source that opened a crack that probably dumped out a few hundred gallons until I shut it off using the main switch out front, and another day I smashed the sprinkler head between the front two windows. I have a feeling that if these two items are repaired, that it would work, again it was bank owned, so I did not have a lot of previous information going into this house.
Neighborhood Description
Where I¢??m located within the neighborhood, it¢??s pretty quiet, and we don¢??t get a lot of foot traffic or vehicle traffic for that matter. One night my roommate left the garage open from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. when I got home and nothing was stolen, and we had tools, a few bikes, a pretty sweet shop vac and the interior garage door was open. The neighbors are pretty nice, they keep to themselves, and work very hard on their lawn/garden to the point that mine doesn¢??t look very nice, i would say a majority of them are either retired or seriously looking at retirement within a decade or so.
There is a street lamp on my property that goes on and off based on the sun setting from what I¢??ve derived, and the mail box is a centralized one that you need a key for, the good news is that i
